Qatar Airways Cargo: record growth in 25th year
Qatar Airways Cargo’s revenue showed an impressive growth of 25% over last year with the growth in cargo capacity (available tonne kilometres) of 25% annually.
Against the backdrop of disruptions caused by the pandemic, Qatar Airways Cargo transported more than 3 million t of air freight and secured an 8% share in the global market.
Qatar Airways Cargo transported more than 600 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines over the course of the pandemic to date and also concentrated its efforts in enhancing its pharma product and industry presence, while also ensuring commitment to its WeQare sustainability programme, which consists of a series of focus chapters based on four core pillars: environment, society, economy and culture.
