Qatar Airways Cargo consolidates its position
In its annual report for FY 2023/24, Qatar Airways posts the strongest financial performance in its 27-year history, with a total revenue of USD 22.2 billion and annual profits 39% higher than the previous year.
Celebrating its milestone 20th year of operation in 2024, Qatar Airways Cargo carried a tonnage of 1,569,512,700 kg in chargeable weight (+1.85%). It thus remained ahead of its competitors and increased its cargo market share to 7.1% in 2023/24, up by 0.04% compared to FY 2022/23.
In the last financial year, the group expanded its fleet by acquiring over 25 additional aircraft – including one Boeing 777F. This expansion brings the total fleet size, as of 31 March 2024, to 284 aircraft of which 29 are for Qatar Airways Cargo. (ah)
