Python train serves North India’s industries
CMA CGM has launched a Python train service in India, running along the western dedicated freight corridor. The two double stack ‘ship-to-rail’ dedicated trains will join at New Kishangarh junction for their onward journey to New Ateli junction and will again split up for the final destination at Gateway Rail’s inland container depot – Gurugram (Garhi Harsaru).
The train services are operated in association with Gateway Rail Freight. They will benefit industries in Haryana and Rajasthan and ensure faster rail transportation of international cargo between the national capital region and Mundra, as well as Port Pipavav ports in the state of Gujarat, the private rail operator said.
