Pumping up warehouse capacity
Hellmann Worldwide Logistics and Wilo, a pump manufacturer, have doubled the storage capacity at the site in Werne, Germany. Expanding the warehouse to 40,000 sqm, the companies are looking to strengthen their collaboration in this location, where Hellmann manages Wilo’s operational processes and organises the delivery of supplies to the latter’s production plant in Dortmund.
Wilo previously consolidated other warehouses into the Werne hub to streamline its operations in the region. The company specialises in manufacturing pumps and pump systems for various industries.
