PTP picks new CEO
The port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) has appointed Mark Hardiman as its new CEO, succeeding Marco Neelsen, who had served seven years in the role.
Hardiman was previously the CEO at the port of Salalah and has held various leadership positions in the Middle East. He was COO and managing director at Khalifa Bin Salman Port and general manager for the Africa, Middle East and India (AMI) region under APM Terminal’s (APMT) regional office in Dubai.
PTP, a joint venture between MMC Group (70%) and APMT (30%), is one of Malaysia’s busiest transhipment hubs with a capacity to handle 13 million teu annually and was ranked 16th in CM’s World Top Container Ports 2023 edition. (cj)
