Prologis enlarges portfolio in Sweden
Prologis, a logistics real estate provider, has bought 295,000 sqm of prime properties in four of Sweden’s strongest logistics markets. The acquisition substantially strengthens the company's presence in Sweden.
The properties are near the company's existing portfolio ‒ and more than 70% of the new properties are in the Stockholm and Gothenburg area.
The acquisition creates and expands two existing Prologis logistic parks - namely Hisingen (part of Gothenburg), and Arlanda Stad - to more than 120'000 sqm each. The latter park is near Stockholm Arlanda airport and 30 minutes from the city centre.
The seller is Logistikfastigheter Sverige, founded in 2016 by Alecta, the occupational pension fund manager, and Bockasjö AB, a logistics developer. (mw)
