Prologis builds logistics facility in Le Havre
The port company Haropa and the real estate developer Prologis have signed an agreement to build several logistics facilities on a 286,000 sqm area near the port of Le Havre (France). "We welcome the construction of competitive logistics hubs near the multimodal terminal. This strengthens the entire PLPN3 project (Parc logistique du Pont de Normandie 3, a logistics park planned near the port of Le Havre)," said Maurand Baptiste, CEO of the port of Le Havre.
On the plot, the partners plan to build warehouses with a total area of 125,000 sqm. The development of the project is expected to start at the beginning of 2020. "Prologis has been the largest private investor in the port of Le Havre for 20 years. We are happy to continue this successful cooperation,” added Salvi Cals, development director at Prologis France.
