Project logistics market on the upswing
In its "BHV Project Logistics Monitor 2021", Bremische Hafen- und Logistikvertretung (BHV) reports that the majority of Bremen's project logistics companies and their customers are optimistic.
For 2021, around 45% of the companies surveyed predict increasing volumes or more projects compared to 2020, while 26% expect no change. The remaining 29% anticipate a decrease.
"Until now, there has been no industry report for the project logistics sector based on empirical data. With the "Project Logistics Monitor" we are closing this gap," explains Dr.-Ing. Patric Drewes, member of the BHV presidium.
Around the turn of 2020/2021, BHV conducted an extensive, anonymous online survey, in which more than 80 companies participated. The results were presented at the "Fachforum Projektlogistik" in January 2021, a virtual event organised by BHV and attended by around 170 participants. (sh)
