Port of Hamburg: job portal for maritime sector
Hamburg's maritime industry is finding it increasingly difficult to hire enough employees for the over 60,000 harbour-related jobs in the area, ranging from warehouse logistics to engineering and piloting.
Hafen Hamburg Marketing has launched a job portal to support member companies in recruitment. The portal offers a comprehensive filter tool for job seekers to explore vacancies in maritime logistics, categorised by training type, work field, and educational level.
Additionally, the "Job of the Week" feature introduces different roles in the port, providing insights and a starting point for the application process. The platform aims to simplify the job search for potential new skilled workers and highlight the diversity of careers in maritime logistics. (pb)
