Port of Dunkirk appoints head of environmental policy
David Lefranc is to lead the development and environment division at the port of Dunkirk in northern France. In this function he will be in charge of the planning and management of projects to develop the port and oversee the implementation of environmental policy. Furthermore, he will be responsible for industrial risk management and the container development project CAP 2020 in the western port.
Lefranc has a degree in engineering. Over the last 20 years he has worked for various public authorities. From 2012, Lefranc was head of the departmental unit for the coastline at the directorate for the environment, development and housing of the Hauts-de-France region in Gravelinse, near Dunkirk. (mw)
