Port of Antwerp-Bruges elects representative
The Port of Antwerp-Bruges has appointed Richard Schroeter as its new representative for Germany and Switzerland, effective 1 October 2023.
Alongside Elmar Ockenfels, he will represent interests of the Belgian port to the shipping industry and the logistics sector in Germany and Switzerland. A particular focus will be on driving the energy transition in the port’s transport network.
A qualified forwarding merchant, Schroeter has held management positions in Japan, Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong for various companies and shipping companies, among others. In recent years, he has also worked as managing director for well-known companies such as Imperial Logistics International, Duisburg, Rhenus Freight Logistics and MBS Cologne as. (cj)
