Port Nola gains VP and CCO
On 1 February 2021, the port of New Orleans (Port Nola) announced the appointment of Todd Rives to the executive team as vice-president and chief commercial officer.
He succeeded Bobby Landry, who is retiring in July, after 31 years with the port; he was in charge of Port Nola’s revenue-producing activities.
In 15 years at ocean carrier CMA CGM, Rives held roles in both domestic and international markets in South Africa, Nigeria, France, Canada and the USA.
Leading strategic planning, vendor evaluation, negotiations and cost analysis for the group, he also engineered CMA CGM’s 'Victory Bridge' service, which connects Europe, Mexico and the US Gulf, including Port Nola. Most recently, Rives served as vice president for marine sourcing. (amh)
