Pluess shoulders CIO role at Imperial Logistics
Hugo Pluess is to take on the role of chief information officer at Imperial Logistics International, as of 1 August. He will be based in Zurich (Switzerland). Reporting to CEO Hakan Bicil, Pluess will be responsible for all aspects of IT throughout the service provider’s operations.
One of his major tasks will be leading the continuing IT integration of the Imperial Logistics International business. Pluess is a senior IT executive with over 30 years of extensive international experience in the delivery of cost-effective, high-performance IT services and organisations.
His past positions include that of VP global Distributed Computing Services, global head of enterprise computing services at Roche Pharmaceuticals and most recently EVP global IT infrastructure at Ceva Logistics, also located in Switzerland. (mw)
