PIL’s new service sets sail
Starting today, 6 July 2023, the new weekly direct "Korea China Straits Service" (KCS) of Pacific International Lines (PIL) will be connecting key ports in South Korea, China, along the Malacca Straits and Vietnam.
Surendran Mathilagath, head of Intra-Asia Services, PIL: "The key feature of this new service is its extensive connections to nine key ports linking five countries in Asia."
With a carrying capacity of 1,800 to 2,200 teu, the vessels of the service will start their journey in Pusan (South Korea), to continue to Kwangyang (South Korea), then Shanghai and Shekou (China), Singapore, Port Kelang (Westport) and Penang (both Malaysia), then again Singapore, Ho-Chi-Minh-City (Cat Lai, Vietnam), Nansha (China), to return to Pusan.
