Pekaes opens new customs agency
The Poland based logistics provider Pekaes recently opened a customs agency in Białystok. The move will ensure efficient clearance of imported and exported goods handled by the company's distribution network.
The agency's establishment stems from growing demand for customs services and the development of cooperations with countries such as Belarus, Ukraine and Russia.
It is currently possible to make customs declarations in standard procedures in Białystok. The company plans to launch further services, such as simplified procedures and temporary storage in the customs sector for clients in Białystok.
“Pekaes is also ready for the changes that will result from Brexit. We have all the necessary permits and procedures in place necessary to handle the exchange of goods with non-EU countries,” adds Marek Tkaczyk, director of the Pekaes International Network. (mw)
