Paul Rinaldi joins Airlines for America
Airlines for America (A4A) has appointed aviation veteran Paul Rinaldi as Senior Vice President, Operations and Safety. Rinaldi brings over 30 years of experience, including four terms as president of the National Air Traffic Controllers Association and recent advisory roles through his consultancy.
At A4A, he’ll oversee Operations and Safety, with a focus on air traffic management. Rinaldi will lead efforts to address ATC staffing shortfalls and modernisation challenges, engaging with the FAA, DOT and Congress.
"Nobody understands this more than Paul," said A4A CEO Nicholas Calio. Rinaldi called the role a "once-in-a-lifetime opportunity" to help restore the US to the forefront of global ATC standards. (ah)
