Partnership reaffirmed
The global airline and airport services provider Menzies Aviation has extended a major contract with Malaysia Airlines for a further five years. It will continue to offer passenger, ramp, and cargo services at five locations in Australia and New Zealand, including Sydney airport (SYD), Melbourne airport (MEL), Adelaide airport (ADL), Perth airport (PER) and Auckland airport (AKL).
Under the extended agreement, Menzies teams are expected to handle 3,200 flights in the five locations each year until 2029. This renewal strengthens the pair’s long-term partnership at these locations.
Darren Masters, executive vice president – Oceania & Southeast Asia, Menzies Aviation: “The renewal of this agreement is a reflection on the strong strategic partnership that has developed between Menzies and Malaysia Airlines over the course of eight years.” (cj)
