Partnership for cross-border railway services
OOCL Logistics has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with its Chinese business partner, Xi'an International Inland Port Multimodal Transportation Corporation.
The deal represents a new milestone in providing an important trade corridor for shippers that wish to leverage the extensive China Railway Express network, OOCL said.
Xi'an International Inland Port Multimodal Transportation Corporation, part of ILT Group, is the sole operator of the China railway express service that links China to many European and regional destinations.
This express network is well regarded as a top-notch transcontinental railway with high frequency services that currently operates 15 service routes and covers more than 40 strategic rail stations in total. (ben)
