Partners for 25 years
The relationship between Allied Air Cargo and the Network Aviation Group reaches 25 years this year, with both carriers continuing to work together, providing air freight services to Nigeria and throughout Africa.
Allied Air Cargo has become the longest serving African all-cargo airline and has attained an impressive list of firsts, including first African all-cargo airline to attain Iosa registration, first African all-cargo airline member of Iata, and first all-cargo airline member of Afraa.
The company was also the first African all-cargo airline to acquire a Boeing 737-800 freighter, which also happened to be the youngest aircraft of its type to be converted into a cargo aircraft in January 2021.
The experience and knowledge of the ANA (Network) Group and the efficiency of the Allied team in West Africa have made Allied Air Cargo one of the most frequently used all-cargo carriers into the region and increasingly, a major carrier of exports out of the area into Europe. (cj)
