Partners add final-mile delivery for airfreight
Two British companies that already work together in sea freight container transport are now to collaborate on final-mile delivery for airfreight. The Freshlinc cold chain storage facility in Spalding will double up to serve as a control point for customs checks and clearances for International Cargo Logistics, streamlining operations of the company that operates over 50,000 sqm of logistics space in 207 countries.
ICL perishables sales director Nick Finbow (left, with Freshlinc CEO Lee Juniper): "This strengthened collaboration comes at an exciting time for us, following closely on the heels of the opening of our new Rotterdam office last month. Further improvements to our cold chain solutions will come later this year, as our Heathrow site undergoes renovations, with expansion and upgrades to our temperature-controlled facility." (ah)
