Partnering with a PVC producer
Greiwing Logistics for you (Greiwing) is now taking over bagging and silo train loading of packaged and bulk PVC goods, thus expanding its collaboration with the manufacturer Westlake Vinnolit.
Greiwing has been providing logistics services at Westlake Vinnolit’s Burghausen chemical park for the last twelve years. The Greven-based company began with solutions for packaged goods but expanded to loose items in 2016.
Greiwing took over bagging and silo train loading at another Westlake Vinnolit site in 2016. This service will now be expanded to Burghausen. The portfolio includes the control and monitoring of bagging systems as well as the storage and transfer of pallets. It will use a loading point control system and a process control system for handling and filling up the silo vehicles.
Building on their long-term partnership, the two companies have thus decided to extend their cooperation until at least 2029. (mk)
