Panattoni to build trimodal site in Austria
Real estate developer Panattoni is building a new logistics park Ennshafen in the economic region of Upper Austria. Completion is scheduled for 2025. The business park is linked to a trimodal network with inland shipping services via the Rhine-Main-Danube waterway, railfreight transport via a container terminal and access to motorways.
With an area of 42,000 m², the site will be suitable for SMEs and industrial use in the metal and steel processing, food, automotive and other sectors.
Certification to the DGNB Gold Standard is being sought. For this purpose, a photovoltaic system will be installed, the outdoor areas will be planted, and district heating and heat pumps will be used. This is Panattoni's second Austrian project after the Panattoni Park in Graz Süd. (mk)
