Pan-American expansion
The American freight carrier Estes has announced multiple expansions in South Carolina, Nevada, and New Jersey and added three new terminals to its portfolio, which are all are recent acquisitions that were retrofitted for the company’s operations.
The terminals in Reno NV and Cinnaminson NJ were two among 24 ones purchased from Yellow, a former transportation provider. Estes has also opened a terminal in Florence SC featuring 1,900 sqm of dock area and 58 doors. The sites in Nevada and New Jersey have dock areas of 1,672 sqm and 2,973 sqm respectively.
With these acquisitions, Estes can boost its number of doors to 985 and add to its fleet. It will soon integrate more Yellow locations into its network in Washington, California, Florida, Detroit, and Austin. (mk)
