Palletspace premiers
15th August saw the debut of Palletspace, a new website aiming to digitalise and simplify pallet and warehousing management.
Powered by the start-up Warespace, this website launched an offering which has previously been used to manage hotel bookings. The software can now be deployed to organise pallets in a so-called “pallet hotel” and handle inbound and outbound transports for standardised goods.
Palletspace is currently in service in over four dozen storage sites in Germany and is expected to expand both nationally and internationally. The idea is to enable customers to secure their required capacity even during peak times or the first stages of a regional expansion.
Thanks to real-time data and updates, users can keep an overview of their inventory. Developed within Cargo Digital World, Warespace has been operating independently since April 2024. (mk)
