Pallet Truck welcomes fifth new member
Logistics North East has invested GBP 700,000 (EUR 817,000) in new vehicles and joined the UK Midlands-based network Pallet Track. The new fleet includes trailers, tractor units, rigid trucks, and vans acquired to support the company’s forecasted growth with Pallet-Track.
The family-run forwarder currently handles 1,000 pallets per day and is also part of the Hazchem and APC parcel networks. It is the fifth new member to join Pallet Track in 2024.
Recent incomers include T&B Solutions, JSP Hauliers and TST Group. Pallet-Track launched with 46 members in 2004 and handled 852 pallets during its first night of operation; it now moves over 3.9 million pallets per year. (ben)
