Pall-Ex picks network development director
The Pall-Ex Group, which provides palletised freight distribution services, has hired Mark Barlow as its network development director. The appointment follows the launch of Fortec’s shareholder model in 2020.
Barlow will be based at the group’s head office in UK and be in charge of strengthening network membership, with a focus on building Fortec’s distribution network membership in strategic locations in the UK. Barlow brings over 20 years of logistics experience to the post, having previously held roles in other UK pallet networks.
Barlow said that “building volume within the Fortec operation is one of my key aims. By creating greater drop density and opportunity for members, along with capitalising on the synergies available within the group, we can reinforce Fortec’s position as a major player in the pallet sector”. (amh)
