50% of the 1,200 European vehicle fleet managers questioned have difficulty obtaining data on the availability of their drivers, although this very information would be important for route planning.
Moreover, in a study conducted by Webfleet Solutions around 41% of the companies surveyed indicate that they have to refuse orders because their vehicle fleet managers do not have a reliable overview of their drivers' real remaining driving times.
German IT specialist Tachofresh has now developed a new responsive webdesign that helps to substantially improve capacity utilisation, route planning and the allocation of drivers. The system also provides a quick overview of the drivers' next legally required resting times on PC, tablet and smartphone, Tachofresh said. (ben)
