Operating results at five-year high
The owner-operated logistics company Röhlig continues to grow successfully in 2018, as the current figures confirm. In the reporting year, the operating result (ebit) rose to a five-year high of EUR 10.2 million after it had been – as planned – lower in the previous year because of investments.
The gross profit generated by the company increased by 7.5% to EUR 143.9 million. Head of finance Hans-Ludger Körner: “By successfully restructuring the Röhlig consolidated companies, we have improved our productivity and profitability as well as our gross profit. We are expecting the current year to be challenging because of market volatility and weakening economic momentum."
In 2019, Röhlig continues to focus on its digitisation projects. Philip W. Herwig, managing partner: “In the future, we will further strengthen our position as a provider of high-quality logistics services in a digital world. We are constantly improving the services we offer to our clients." (mw)
