Opening new ways to Volga-Dnepr Airlines
Following the recent agreement between the administration of Moscow and the Volga-Dnepr Group, Volga-Dnepr Airlines operated its first Moscow-Delhi-Dhaka flight and return.
On the outward leg, the Russian cargo airline's IL-76 brought 18 t of metal components for export to South Asia and returned to the Russian capital with 23 t of children's and sporting goods, textiles and shoes.
Fedor Novikov, managing director of Volga-Dnepr: "In the current situation, it is very important not only to maintain existing logistics chains, but also to establish new transport corridors for the stable supply of socially important goods. We have remained true to our mission for over 30 years, and we are ready to expand our network and the list of transported goods." (ah)
