Onvia Cab for CZ Loko

Alstom has signed a contract with CZ Loko to supply 50 Onvia Cab onboard ETCS units for MUV 75 railway maintenance vehicles.

According to the company, the EUR 9 million agreement will see installation begin in March, with deliveries continuing over the next two years. The Onvia Cab system, designed for both new and existing rolling stock, ensures compliance with the latest TSI 2023 baseline level three standards.

With over 25,000 units in operation worldwide, Alstom’s solution is currently being used internationally, including in Czechia, where it accounts for more than 80% of onboard ETCS installations. Czechia is expanding its ETCS network, which currently monitors 622 km of railways. Alstom remains the leading supplier of onboard ETCS solutions in the country. (js)
