Online reference site for intermodal transport Contargo, a seaport- European hinterland transport provider, is now supplying the intermodal domain in the Java library with the technical terms for intermodal transport free of charge.
Companies and manufacturers will thus be able to use the contents of the voluntary standard DIN SPEC 91073-DIGIT. Contargo said it is making the move to help establish uniform terminology for all players in the intermodal transport chain and to facilitate communication.
The company already had a collection of programme elements before the DIN SPEC 91073-DIGIT that allows users to integrate those terms into other applications. (ben)
