ONE extends network to and in North Africa
The European branch of the Ocean Network Express, the Japanese container shipping conglomerate headquartered in Singapore, is extending its footprint in North Africa.
The carrier has appointed two new third-party agents - the Algerian branch of the Spanish Romeu Group and Global Container Agency Tunisie - to expand its service coverage in Algeria and Tunisia in North Africa.
From 20 April on, ONE’s MD1 service linking Asia to the Mediterranean will have feeder vessels connecting from Valencia, Spain to Rades, Tunisia and Algiers and Oran, Algeria. Romeu Algeria is located in Algiers, the Global Container Agency Tunisie operates in the Zone Portuaire of Rades. (mw)
