Oman airports signing for more quality

Oman Aviation Services (OAS) has become the latest organisation to adopt Tiaca’s new cargo service quality (CSQ) tool, which aims to improve standards across the global air cargo industry. OAS, based in Muscat has also signed a MoU with Tiaca, pledging to work together with the association to promote air cargo growth in the Middle East.

"The MoU comes at an exciting time for OAS, as the opening of their new cargo terminal is tangible evidence of the importance of Oman’s growing role in the regional and global cargo landscape," said Tiaca secretary general, Vladimir Zubkov (right, with OAS CEO Khalfan Al Shueili).

Last month it was announced that Kenya would become the first country in the world to adopt CSQ, which was launched last year by Tiaca board members following a trial in the summer. (ah)
