Old Dominion does well in 2021
In 2021, USA-based transport firm Old Dominion, NC, saw its revenues surge by 31.4% to USD 1.4 billion. Profit grew even stronger, by 46.9% to almost USD 279 million. The average number of full-time employees increased by 20.3% in Q4/2021.
Old Dominion’s president and chief executive officer Greg C. Gantt: “Old Dominion’s fourth quarter financial performance resulted in new company records for annual revenue and profitability."
The company expects its investments for 2022 to total approximately USD 825 million, including planned expenditures of USD 300 million for real estate and service centre expansion projects, USD 485 million for trucks and trailers and USD 40 million for information technology and other assets. (sh)
