O. Brunoni and Allmarine join up
In Switzerland, O. Brunoni and Allmarine will merge their business activities as from 1 January 2024. The managements of both companies have mutually agreed to operate under the single brand O. Brunoni in future.
O. Brunoni has also won Zim, globally the tenth largest shipping company, and its affiliated companies as a principal. The Swiss company will act as Zim’s agent in Switzerland, effective 1 January 2024.
The existing team will stay on board. The company underlined that all existing agreements, terms, and conditions will be preserved and taken over by O. Brunoni, which spoke of a “greater range of transportation products and business solutions” now available to its customers. The coverage of FCL, breakbulk and ro-ro services will continue.
The merged company has a proud tradition. Oskar Brunoni founded his own firm to represent foreign shipping lines in Switzerland in 1946. (cd)
