Nunner opens new branch in Switzerland
Nunner Logistics will open a new branch in St. Gallen, Switzerland on 1 May 2019, which will focus primarily on developing rail solutions and services across Europe, central Asia and China. The new office shows Nunner’s commitment to improve the company’s abilities to serve its growing rail client base in Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Italy.
Tufan Khalaji will be the managing director of the Swiss subsidiary. He brings a 13-year track record in rail logistics. “We recognise a huge market potential in the DACH and Italian region to expand our strong position on the rail connection with China (one belt, one road),” says Erwin Cootjans, CEO of Nunner. “We are proud that to contract Khalaji and use his huge experience in combination with his personal skills to achieve our goals.” (mw)
