Nordic carrier digitally increases efficiency
Webcargo has announced that the Norwegian airline Widerøe has joined its cargo booking platform, aiming to deliver real-time rates, capacity and e-bookings. Over 3,500 forwarders in 10,000 offices now have access to air cargo shipments from Norway, Denmark, and UK through Widerøe's network.
The airline's cargo manager Thomas Lone: "Widerøe welcomes the CO2-emissions calculation provided by the platform, it enables the customers to take an active choice with regards not only to the price of the service, but also to its impact on the environment."
