Nippon certified for Taiwan operations
The Taiwan food and drug administration has awarded Nippon Express with a certification for its cosmetics operations in Taoyuan.
The good manufacturing practices (GMP) certificate means that the quality and safety of the company’s cosmetics manufacturing meet the standards of the administration. This allows the logistics provider to stay ahead of the market, as this certification will become mandatory this July for companies packaging cosmetics imported into Taiwan and affixing Chinese-language labels.
The warehouse in question, dubbed NEXT3, was previously certified with GDP and GMP for its operations for pharmaceutical products. It is located 15 km from Taoyuan’s international airport and features high-standard air-conditioned storage and processing areas. (mk)
