Niedersachsen Ports picks Volker Weiss
Volker Weiss (centre), the former head of the Emden branch, has been appointed technical managing director of the port company Niedersachsen Ports (NPorts). He will replace Folker Kielgast (right), who will retire at the end of 2022.
Kielgast and Holger Banik (left), spokesman of the executive board, commented: "With Weiss, we are welcoming another experienced port expert to the executive board. From our many years of cooperation, we know and appreciate his professional, personal and leadership qualities."
Weiss has been managing the Emden branch, NPorts' largest location with around 200 employees, since August 2016. (cj)
