Next to Tesla
Panattoni is developing a new building in Grünheide, Brandenburg (Germany), directly adjacent to international car manufacturer Tesla’s Berlin-Brandenburg production site.
The developer is realising a total floor space of almost 56,000 sqm, of which approx. 46,500 sqm is hall space, 2,640 sqm office space and 3,000 sqm mezzanine space. The outdoor areas will provide 192 parking spaces for cars and twelve for trucks.
Panattoni is also constructing a 3,600 sqm canopy to create space to unload cargo from the side of the building.
With the 94,000 sqm brownfield site to be converted, the company has secured one of the last outstanding plots of land in Grünheide. It has a direct connection to Tesla’s Brandenburg plant only 700 m away. Panattoni plans to start deconstruction work Q2/2023, with construction scheduled to begin in Q3/2023. The facility is slated to become operational in Q3/2024. (sh)
