Next step from B737 to A320 family
Dubai-based Aerovista has completed the acquisition of two A321s to initiate its passenger to freighter conversion project. The two aircraft will go through a conversion programme, with a target to have the aircraft ready for freighter operations by Q3/2022 and Q1/2023.
The company started in 1999 operating B737 and gradually moved on the A320 family. It believes that the A321 P2F aircraft provides an opportunity to break into the single-aisle freighter market that has been largely controlled by the B737Fs: "We are working in collaboration with our investors, and believe this creates a unique investment opportunity for aircraft financiers whilst providing value to airlines looking to stabilise their revenues and gain market share in the necessary air cargo market."
