Next generation CCS for Sète
The French port of Sète on the Mediterranean has now made its choice after launching a tender in November 2019 for the next generation of its online IT platform CCS (cargo community system).
The Port of Sète has selected MGI’s Ci5 software for the digital management of its goods flows. The contract signed for a period of five years renews the existing partnership between the Port of Sète and MGI.
The board of directors of the Port, chaired by Jean-Claude Gayssot in December 2019, voted unanimously for the option, saying it is "fully in line with the 2021-2025 strategic project" of Sète. Ci5 will succeed in the coming months to the system put in place in the year 2012.
This new platform will concern all the goods handled at the port of Sète, containers, trailers, bulk, livestock, etc. It will be operational in the autumn of 2020. (mw)
