New weekly Emirates freighter to Copenhagen
Emirates SkyCargo has announced the deployment of a weekly freighter to Copenhagen airport in a media release, thus increasing its network to 38 destinations. According to the company the measure has been implemented because of the growth in volume of over 20% from Denmark, “driven largely by pharmaceutical shipments.”
In addition to pharmaceutical solutions, Emirates provides other technologies from general cargo to temperature-sensitive perishables with its ‘multi-vertical product portfolio’.
Mette Jansen, cargo manager for Scandinavia at Emirates, said that the deployment of a dedicated freighter will ensure that the company can match demand “and support our customers to reach a large number of global markets.” (js)
