New warehouse automation for Onboard Logistics
US-based freight forwarder Onboard Logistics has partnered with intelligent logistics platform Raft to optimise warehousing operations. The provider now has a fully automated warehouse pre-check process, utilising Raft’s platform to improve the receipt and processing of cargo before its physical arrival.
Since implementation, which was completed within a two-week period, Onboard Logistics has achieved a capacity lift of over three times its previous capabilities.
The company recently launched an aggressive digitalisation strategy, investing heavily in its technological infrastructure to enhance its warehousing processes. The Raft platform is part of the company’s 'digital warehouse project'.
Having experienced significant growth in recent years, Onboard Logistics intends to continue investing in cutting-edge technologies as it expands its reach into new markets. (mk)
