New truck enhances vehicle fleet
The Swiss haulage provider, Beda Steiner, has added a Renault T380 P4x2 to its fleet. The vehicle is the fourth Renault truck in the family-owned company's fleet, which comprises a total of 55 vehicles. The firm’s 85 employees provide temperature-controlled deliveries for a major distributor and others, and also carry pharmaceutical products to hospitals. The latter services now account for almost 50% of Steiner’s transport activities. Crane logistics is another mainstay.
The new 380 hp Renault T380 is equipped with an 11 l, six cylinder engine. Maximum torque (1,800 Nm) is available at 950 to 1,400 rpm. (ben)
