New transit service from Korea to Europe launched
Trans-Siberian LandBridge, RZD Logistics and Fesco have expanded their network with a new transport service between Korea and Europe. A first container was recently dispatched from Busan (South Korea).
Then the container was delivered to the commercial port of Vladivostok (Russia) by Fesco Korea Express sea service, and to Brest station in Belarus via the Trans-Siberian railway by RZD Logistics. After transshipment to the 1435 mm gauge rolling stock, the container was delivered to the Brzeg Dolny railway station in Poland.
The cargo was transported to the client’s warehouse in Wroclaw (Poland) by truck. Total transit time was 21 days. The new service is intended for the transportation of different cargoes, including car parts and equipment. (ben)
