New train connects South Russia and China
Trans Container and Maxima Logistic have organised the dispatch of a block train from Krasnodar-Sortirovochniy station in South Russland to Gaoyi in China (Province Hebei).
The train passed the Russian-Chinese border crossing point at Naushki/ Zamyn - Uud (Mongolia) and was loaded with 41 40-foot Transcontainer-owned containers full of sunflower seed oil.
The loaded containers had first been trucked within Russia from the plant in Adygea to Krasnodar, a journey of ten days. The new train adds a further connection to Transcontainer's network, the company said. (ben)
