New terminal in Eastern Poland
Polish logistics operator Pekaes, an affiliate of Geodis since 2021, has opened a new terminal in Głogów Małopolski close to Rzeszów in Eastern Poland, where its local branch will also be headquartered.
The new location aims to facilitate the handling of international freight and is part of the company's long-term strategy to expand its mixed cargo capabilities throughout Poland.
The terminal is located in the vicinty of an interchange connecting the A4 motorway with the national road no. 9 (Warsaw – Rzeszów), and close to an S19 expressway interchange (Lublin – Rzeszów) and in 6 km distance from Rzeszów Jasionka Airport. The current area of the distribution terminal amounts to 3,240 sqm and is expected to be increased to nearly 5,000 sqm. (sh)
