New shuttle links Ural with the Far East regions
Fesco is expanding its domestic network for regular container services. The new Ural Amur shuttle connects Ekaterinburg in the east of the Ural and Khabarovsk, Sverdlovsk Oblast near the Russian-Chinese border.
Trains will depart once a week. Transit time is seven days. The service will be used to transport a wide range of cargo from food to equipment. Planned traffic volume is about 600 teu per month. The first train of this connection already arrived at Russian Krasnaya Rechka station near the Chinese border.
According to Fesco, the service is focused on domestic transportation from the Ural region to the regions of the Far East. (ben)
