New semitrailer saves money
At the company Bubi Transport in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, a small semitrailer is now in full swing. “With this truck we save a significant amount in heavy goods vehicle tolls compared to using a conventional two-axle semitrailer,” says driver Josip Bekic.
With a total weight of 12 t and 240 PS, the Renault-Trucks D10, which was recently delivered to the freight forwarder, is up to the task of providing all transport services for the company’s regular customer Rhenus Logistics.
Furthermore, its manoeuvrability is a great asset in distribution traffic within suburban areas. Manoeuvring a semitrailer may be more of a challenge than driving a solo vehicle, but the air suspension of the customised trailer turns the combination into a jack-of-all-trades at every ramp. (ben)
